Co-Founder of Milestones Private Investment Advisors LLC, Mark has over 30 years of professional experience.  More than twenty years have been devoted to advising families, individuals, and executive teams across the U.S., with a predominant focus on investment management and wealth management disciplines.

Instrumental in developing innovative, proprietary computer algorithms and mathematical models to assist with macroeconomic analysis and portfolio-management, Mark is Chief Investment Officer at Milestones.  Expressed succinctly, one could say that Mark is a "quant".

Before co-founding Milestones, Mark served as Vice President of Investments for Wells Fargo Advisors and its predecessor firms.  Prior to that, he served in a management advisory role to Fortune 500 companies and government agencies.

​

After graduating from Rochester Institute of Technology (R.I.T.) with a Bachelors of Science in Applied Mathematics (with concentrations in Physics, Economics, Engineering, and Computer Sciences), Mark later earned a certificate in Strategic Finance from Harvard Business School, as well as the financial industry's certification of Accredited Asset Management Specialist(℠) designation from the College for Financial Planning®.

While at R.I.T., Mark found himself ranked in the top 1% of all S.T.E.M. students for mathematical studies.   While at Harvard, he was nominated by faculty to serve in a team-leadership role.

A former professional motocross athlete and factory-sponsored rider for Kawasaki Motors Corp., U.S.A., by the age of 17 Mark had become an AMA Amateur National Motocross Champion, a Calculus-league mathlete, and had been selected to New York State's All-State Orchestra.  Directly out of high school, Mark opted for intellectual pursuit over a promising professional career in athletics and racing, which has led to having a greater impact on the lives of others by way of his financial career.

Having prior, real-world proficiency in computer programming and enterprise-scale software architecture and data management systems, Mark has leveraged that early background along with his deep and foundational knowledge of the financial markets and mathematics by strategically bridging those varied disciplines to develop a proprietary, quantitative toolset for investment strategy and portfolio management.

Mark is a devoted father to three children and one rescue dog.  He and his family live in the Upstate New York region, where Mark enjoys spending time with his family, hiking with Denver (truly, man's best friend!) and – if time permits – occasionally riding motocross or golfing.
